The aim of this gathering, our shared basis, technical issues about the space and its functioning (kitchen, toilets, showers, camping place, workshop spaces etc.), self-organizing of shifts, modes of discussion, other proposals.
17.00 – 18.30 History of the anti-vivisection movement
The presentation is aimed to put into context the struggle against vivisecion, a fight that finds its roots back into the 19th century and that developed in more recent times with a serie of campaigns that in England first, and then in many other countries, have been able to become a concrete threat to the very existence of one of the more profitable sectors of animal exploitation. After over 10 years of fights this specific struggle has been marginalized, partly because of repression that prevented many activists to keep on working on the campaigns they were busy with, partly because of a progressive lack of interest from the animal liberation movement, that started to focus more on practices that were easier to present to the public such as vegan outreach and raising awareness on intensive factory farming. The aim of the presentation is to offer a moment of critical debate on the real possibilities of a relaunch of an effective praxis of struggle against the torture of animals inside laboratories.

9.30 – 12.00 International discussion about the situation of the animal rights movement in the different countries and our efforts to relaunch radical animal liberation struggles
We would like this space of discussion to be a possibility to exchange analyses about the current situation of the animal rights movement in the different countries we come from, and about our efforts, in this context, to relaunch radical animal liberation struggles. We invite individuals and groups who want to partecipate to the gathering to prepare a speech (max. 10-15 mins. each) where to explain the context and conditions in which you’re intervening, the general trend (reformist, libertarian, liberal, reactionary…) of the animal rights movement in your country and, most important, what kind of initiative and projectuality was organized to relaunch an anarchist/libertarian animal liberation struggle – campaigns, events, analysis, strategies… So as to have a basis to encourage the collective reflection and debate about what is working or not to give more strenght to our struggles.

With the growth in vegan activism in the recent years, a considerably higher number of underground actions has been noticed, not only within the underground scene, but also by ‘law enforcement’. We will attempt to discuss tactics, good praxis and advice for anyone (yes, even overground activists!) to avoid being targeted by the filth, to not make things easily accessible to information gatherers and to not fall for state paranoia.

Gaining momentum for mass actions against animal industry: bringing together the animal liberation movement and the climate justice movement. Report from Germany, where Animal Climate Action organizes an action conference to start a radical, anticapitalist alliance for mass mobilizations to hit animal industry directly and sensitively.

17.00 – 18.30 Storia del movimento anti-vivisezionista
La presentazione è finalizzata a contestualizzare la lotta contro la vivisezione, una lotta che affonda le proprie radici nel diciannovesimo secolo e che si è sviluppata ed affermata in tempi più recenti con una serie di campagne che prima in Inghilterra ed in seguito in diversi paesi del mondo sono state in grado di diventare una minaccia concreta al mantenimento di uno dei settori più redditizi dello sfruttamento animale. Dopo oltre un decennio di battaglie questa lotta specifica è stata marginalizzata, in parte a causa della repressione che ha impedito a molti /e attivisti / e di continuare ad impegnarsi nelle campagne che stavano seguendo, in parte a causa di un progressivo calo di interesse da parte del movimento per la liberazione animale, che ha iniziato a focalizzarsi maggiormente in pratiche facilmente accettabili dalla maggior parte delle persone, come la diffusione del veganismo e la sensibilizzazione verso le pratiche di allevamento intensivo. La finalità della presentazione è fornire un momento di apertura ad un dibattito critico sulle reali possibilità di rilancio di una pratica di lotta efficace contro la tortura degli animali all’interno dei laboratori.

Ci piacerebbe che questo spazio di discussione fosse uno scambio di analisi sulla situazione attuale dei movimenti animalisti nei diversi paesi da cui proveniamo e dei nostri tentativi, in questo contesto, di rilancio delle lotte radicali di liberazione animale. Invitiamo individui e gruppi dei diversi paesi che partecipano all’incontro a preparare un intervento (di massimo 10-15 minuti) in cui raccontare il contesto e le condizioni in cui si trovano a intervenire, la tendenza generale (riformista, libertaria, reazionaria…) del movimento animalista nel proprio paese e soprattutto quali iniziative e progettualità sono state messe in campo per rilanciare una lotta di liberazione animale anarchica/libertaria – campagne, iniziative, analisi, strategie… Così da avere una base che stimoli la riflessione collettiva e il dibattito su cosa sta funzionando o meno per dare più forza alle nostre lotte.

Con la crescita, negli ultimi anni, dell’attivismo in ambito vegan, si nota un incremento notevole del numero di azioni dirette clandestine. A notarle non sono solo gli ambienti di lotta ma anche le forze di polizia. Cercheremo di discutere delle tattiche, delle buone prassi e dei consigli che chiunque (sì, anche attivistx che fanno cose pubbliche!) può seguire per evitare di essere presx di mira dalla feccia, per non rendere le cose troppo facilmente accessibili a chi raccoglie le informazioni e per non cadere preda della paranoia dello Stato.

Das Ziel dieses Treffens, unsere gemeinsamen Grundlagen, technische Fragen über den Ort und seine Einrichtungen (Küche, Toiletten, Duschen, Campingplatz, Workshop-Räume usw.), Selbstorganisation der Schichten, Umgangs- und Diskussions-Formen, sowie andere Vorschläge.
17.00 – 18.30 Uhr Geschichte der Anti-Vivisektionsbewegung
Die Präsentation zielt darauf ab, den Kampf gegen die Vivisektion in einen passenden Kontext zu stellen – ein Kampf, der seine Wurzeln bis ins 19. Jahrhundert zurückverfolgen kann und der sich in jüngerer Zeit mit einer Reihe von Kampagnen entwickelt hat, die zuerst in England und dann in vielen anderen Ländern zu einer konkreten Bedrohung für die Existenz eines der profitabelsten Sektoren der Tierausbeutung werden konnten. Nach über 10 Jahren wurde dieser spezifische Kampf an den Rand gedrängt, zum Teil wegen der Repression, die viele Aktivist*innen daran hinderte, weiter an den Kampagnen zu arbeiten, mit denen sie beschäftigt waren, und zum Teil wegen eines fortschreitenden Desinteresses der Tierbefreiungsbewegung, die sich mehr und mehr auf Praktiken konzentrierte, die der Öffentlichkeit leichter zugänglich waren, wie vegane Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und Sensibilisierung für intensive Tierhaltung. Ziel des Vortrags ist es, einen Moment der kritischen Diskussion über die realen Möglichkeiten einer Neubelebung einer wirksamen Praxis des Kampfes gegen die Folter von Tieren in Laboren zu bieten.

9.30 – 12.00 Uhr Internationale Diskussion über die Situation der Tierrechtsbewegung in den verschiedenen Ländern und unsere Bemühungen zur Wiederbelebung radikaler Tierbefreiungskämpfe
Wir möchten, dass dieser Diskussionsraum die Möglichkeit bietet, Analysen über die aktuelle Situation der Tierrechtsbewegung in den verschiedenen Ländern, aus denen wir kommen, und über unsere Bemühungen in diesem Zusammenhang zur Wiederbelebung radikaler Tierbefreiungskämpfe auszutauschen. Wir laden Einzelpersonen und Gruppen, die an der Versammlung teilnehmen möchten, zur Vorbereitung einer Rede ein (jeweils max. 10-15 Minuten), um den Kontext und die Bedingungen, in die ihr eingreift, den allgemeinen Trend (reformistisch, libertär, liberal, reaktionär, …) der Tierrechtsbewegung in eurem Land, und, was am wichtigsten ist, welche Art von Initiative und Projektualität organisiert wurde, um einen anarchistisch/libertären Tierbefreiungskampf wieder in Gang zu bringen – Kampagnen, Veranstaltungen, Analysen, Strategien…. Um eine Grundlage zu haben, um die kollektive Reflexion und Debatte darüber zu fördern, was funktioniert oder nicht, um unseren Kämpfen mehr Stärke zu verleihen.

Informationen und Updates über die jüngste Welle von Verhaftungen und Prozessen gegen antispeziesistische Aktivist*innen in Frankreich und der Schweiz und wie mensch sie unterstützen kann.

Mit dem Wachstum des veganen Aktivismus in den letzten Jahren ist eine deutlich höhere Anzahl von Untergrundaktionen zu beobachten, nicht nur innerhalb der Untergrundszene, sondern auch durch die “Strafverfolgung”. Wir werden versuchen, Taktiken, gute Praktiken und Ratschläge für alle (ja, sogar für Aktivist*innen, die sich nicht zum Untergrund zählen!) zu diskutieren, um zu vermeiden, vom Dreck ins Visier genommen zu werden, um es den Informationssammler*innen nicht leicht zu machen und um nicht auf die staatliche Paranoia hereinzufallen.

Ein Bericht aus Deutschland, wo Animal Climate Action eine Aktionskonferenz organisiert, um ein radikales, antikapitalistisches Bündnis für massenhafte Mobilisierungen zu starten, um die Tierindustrie direkt und sensibel zu treffen.
